Pippa Middleton to miss celebrity 'Rear of the Year' award for sexy behind

Pippa Middleton's derriere has created quite a rage worldwide. However, the svelte beauty is slated to miss this year's celebrity 'Rear of the Year' award in London. 

The 27-year-old had recently emerged as the favourite choice for the annual prize presented to a leading British celebrity, which includes the likes of Fiona Bruce, Graham Norton and Melinda Messenger.

But, Pippa's sudden rise to fame after her royal bridesmaid stint has not been able to shake off her close rivals.

"While the immediate flood of votes for Pippa was sudden and unexpected, it still had to compete with an ongoing flow of nominations for half a dozen or so firm favourites who had been well ahead in the voting since January," he says.

"There were other serious contenders for the title," the Daily Express quoted awards spokesperson Tony Edwards as saying.

Hinting on Pippa missing the award this year, Edwards added, "I can confirm that, all things being equal, this year's winners—male and female—will both be attending the presentation in June."
