Obama jokes that meeting Lady Gaga ‘was a little intimidating’

US President Barack Obama recently joked that “it was a little intimidating” to meet Lady Gaga at a California fundraiser last week.

The president got some laughs with his comments about the music superstar during his keynote address at the annual Human Rights Campaign dinner, which was attended by some 3,000 gay rights activists on Saturday evening.

“I took a trip out to California last week, where I had some productive bilateral talks with your leader, Lady Gaga,” the Politico quoted him as saying.

“She was wearing 16-inch heels. She was eight feet tall. It was a little intimidating,” he added.
