US President Barack Obama may be elated over striking deals with India in various fields but he did not want a collaboration between the two countries in one area -- media!

The US president was at his jovial best at the joint press conference with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi today when he was pressed by India journalists to answer a part of a question raised by an American mediaperson relating to the US' stand on a permanent UN Security Council seat for India.

"I am instructed to take only one question. It is not surprising that Indian media and the US media are collaborating. That is not the kind of collaboration we are looking forward too," Obama said amidst peals of laughter.
