Naagin 3 actor who got introduced to Anupam Kher at his acting school says the veteran actor is like a father figure to him.
Ekta Kapoor's hit show 'Naagin 3' featuring Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassandani, Karishma Tanna and Pearl V Puri is getting a lot of love from the audience. Among the stunning actresses who play shape-shifting snakes on the show, Puri's character of Maahir Sehgal is also being loved by the fans.
Pearl V Puri's career choice was never accepted by his family but the actor has been been making the right noises from his first show, 'Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat'. Mumbai has now become home away from home and the actor remembers how Anupam Kher gave him important life lessons. In a recent interview to IANS, the actor confessed that Anupam Kher is like a father figure to him. Pearl said, 'Acting cannot be taught. It can only be learnt'. These words by Anupam Sir are engraved in my mind. He is an institution in himself. " He credits his training at Anupam Kher's acting school 'Actor Prepares' for his succes.
Ask him about women power dominating Naagin 3 and Pearl said that women have always been superior. He further added, "With 'Naagin 3', the story and the plot are the winner. It is an amalgamation of a hero, heroine and a villain and the show would be incomplete without any one of them. So every character is important and it's not ideally a women-centric show.'
Pearl V Puri made his debut in 2011 with the show "Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat" and since there has been no looking back since then. He said that God has been kind and he has no complaints. '
Acting has been my passion and today I am getting to live my dream. I have no regrets and I am happy with the way things are panning out,' he told IANS.
