After Asus unveiled the ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite during Mobile World Congress this year, the company launched the ZenFone 5Z in India today. The device will be available in three variants - 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant at Rs 29,999, the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant at Rs 32,999, and the 8GB of RAM/256GB internal storage variant at Rs 36,999. The device will go on sale via e-commerce portal Flipkart, starting July 9.

ICICI credit and debit card customers can avail an Rs 3,000 discount while purchasing the device. Additionally, Flipkart is offering its 'Complete Mobile Protection' at Rs 499, which is originally priced at Rs 2,299. Customers can also opt for no-cost EMIs starting from Rs 3,333 a month. Lastly, Jio users will get Rs 2,200 cashback and 100GB additional data as well.
In terms of specifications, the Asus ZenFone 5Z features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Running Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top, the ZenFone 5Z will be available in three variants - 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
It comes equipped with a dual camera setup. It includes a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture along with a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3300mAh battery completes the package.
