The Rock returns to WWE Raw; Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose set for big match

WWE and Hollywood superstar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson returned to Raw on Monday night, to confront the tag team New Day and help his cousins the Usos fight them off.

He also took potshots at The Miz, first through satellite and then by actually coming out to the ring.

While making his way out to the ring, The Rock made fun of Pat Patterson, and wished Rusev and Lana for 'getting engaged'.

After The Rock came out to the ring, he had a funny exchange with The New Day followed by a brawl between the New Day, the Usos and The Rock.

The Rock ended up delivering the Rock Bottom to New Day member Big E, and a People's Elbow to Xavier Woods to delight the crowd.

After Triple H returned Sunday night at the Royal Rumble to win the match and the WWE World Heavyweight Title, The Authority and Vince McMahon decided that they would determine the contenders for Triple H's title at Wrestlemania. These contenders would then face off in a match at WWE's next Pay Per View Event, Fast Lane. The winner of the Fast Lane match would face Triple H at Wrestlemania.

However, by the end of the show a main event had been announed: Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns v/s Rusev and Sheamus. Ambrose and Reigns won the match when Reigns speared Sheamus. Rusev then got powerbombed through a table by Dean Ambrose.

Stephanie McMahon then came out to announce that the main event of Fast Lane, to decide the No 1 contender for the WWE World Title, would be Roman Reigns v/s Dean Ambrose v/s Brock Lesnar.
