Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan has said that the team which handles pressure better will win Wednesday’s World Cup semi-final between India and Pakistan at Mohali’s Punjab cricket association stadium.

“This match is all about pressure, and that factor tends to even out things. It means that the highly talented may not be able to perform well while players who aren’t that gifted can rise to the occasion and play beyond themselves,” the Nation quoted Khan, as saying.

“Pressure is never more than in a World Cup, especially at the semi-final and final stages. Pakistan will feel the pressure that an Indo-Pak encounter brings. India has the added burden of playing at home and going in as the favourites,” he added.

Khan also prescribed sleeping pills for both the team’s to sleep the night before the much-anticipated clash.

“My advice to them is to take sleeping pills the previous night. Sleep won’t come that easily,” Khan said.
