Dutch international defender Jeffrey Bruma will make his first Premier League start for Chelsea in Sunday''s home game against Aston Villa.

Bruma, 19, joins captain John Terry in central defence because Serbian Branislav Ivanovic is suspended and Brazilian Alex is a long-term injury victim.

"It is the time that we can use Bruma," manager Carlo Ancelotti told Chelsea TV. "He is a young player who is a very good defender.

"He works very closely with John Terry, Ivanovic and Alex and it is the time to put him in. I am sure he will do his best."

Bruma has previously made one start in the Champions League and in the League Cup, plus six appearances as a substitute.

Premier League champions Chelsea, in fourth place in the table four points behind leaders Manchester United, recorded their first victory since the middle of November when they beat Bolton Wanderers 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
