David Beckham ‘would love to go back to Manchester United’

David Beckham has said that he would love to go back to Manchester United in a sporting director’s role.

Beckham has seen Zinedine Zidane return to Real Madrid to take up an advisory and coaching post.

On being asked about following former team-mate Zidane's footsteps, The Sun quoted him, as saying: "I'd love to do that.”

"The best memory of my career came in 1999, no doubt, when Manchester United won the treble. In my opinion, no club can repeat that feat," he added. 9.
