Cricketer Yuvraj Singh was left fuming on Tuesday when his fiancee and actress Hazel Keech was denied money by Western Union Money Transfer on the grounds that her name didn't sound Hindu enough.
Reacting to this ridiculous behaviour, Hazel tweeted, "Mr Peeyush Sharma @WesternUnion in Jaipur is the most racist person ive met and refused to give money because my name is not "Hindu" enough."

In a statement to dna, Western Union said it was investigating the incident and would take action. "We regret the inconvenience caused to Hazel Keech when she was collecting a remittance at a Jaipur agent location. We are investigating the matter and will take suitable action," the statement read, adding, "Regulatory requirements in India stipulate that cross border remittances under the Money Transfer Services Scheme are allowed for personal remittances. Thereby, the regulators expect that the relationship between the sender and receiver is established prior to payout. The regulator expect the location to conduct additional due diligence in case of uncertainty."
Western Union also said it was "pleased that Ms Keech received her remittance at another agent location."
