Watch: Artists paint in virtual reality with Tilt Brush on the HTC Vive

The technology lets the user create 3D works of art that they can walk around and view from any angle.

The HTC Vive is finally in the market, ahead of some other VR headset players, so what can you really do with it aside from the obvious VR games available? Well, you could give your artistic side free reign with Tilt Brush.

The Tilt Brush app is a Google property that lets you paint in virtual reality. And not just painting on a virtual canvas, you can do some really cool things like walk around your painting and make a 3D work of art. The possibilities are limitless, and Google tried to explore some of those this past week. 

The Google Cultural Institute in Paris put the HTC Vive with Tilt Brush in the hands of some artists from South Africa, UK, US, Mexico, and Cuba. It's a very short video, with the artists' first attempts at using the technology, but it clearly demonstrates the boundless possibilities for the future. Check out the video for yourself below.
