VIZIO launches SmartCast: A new way to watch TV

VIZIO announced the launch of its SmartCast on Tuesday, as part of its new P-Series Ultra HD HDR Home Theatre Display collection--a smart entertainment system for sound bars, speakers and displays.

Now, instead of controlling TVs from battery-filled remote controls, consumers can use SmartCast and the included 6" Android tablet, which acts as the remote. Besides its intuitive smart features, the P-Series offers impressive picture quality and simplifies on-screen navigation.

The tablet itself can also be used to enjoy games and other apps, which can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

The P-Series set starts at $999 (approximately Rs 66,700) for the 50-inch base model or $3,799 (approximately Rs 2,53,700) for 75-inches.
