Twitter rolls out two new features that let you filter out all the random crappy tweets that you don't care about. The two tools -- Notifications Settings and Quality Filter -- lets you control “what you see and who you interact with on Twitter”.

The new ‘Notifications Settings’ lets users see only the twitter handles that they follow opposed to the previous config that bombarded you with notifications from everyone.

While the second feature called ‘Quality Filter’ -- which the twitter says has been in testing since last year -- filters out “lower-quality content, like duplicate Tweets or content that appears to be automated, from your notifications.”

The new features are to roll out worldwide in the coming days.
