The Lenovo Phab merges the functionality of a smartphone and the screen size of a tablet, will soon be launched exclusively on Flipkart.
Chinese multinational manufacturers to launch the Lenovo Phab at a retail price of Rs 11,999, exclusively available on Flipkart via a flash sale from April 21st, 2016 while registrations for the sale has already begun. The device merges all the functionality of a tablet with the portability of a smartphone.
First unveiled in September at IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin), some noteworthy specs are that the Phab houses a 6.98-inch HD display at a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The device sports on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable to 64GB via a microSD card. The gadget also runs on Android 5.1 OS with company’s Vibe UI on top of it, powered by a rather large 4,250mAh battery.
Crafted from a lightweight material, the device is crafted with round edges and polished buttons. The slim design and UI with several shortcut features aid in single-handed operation is an attempt by the company to make it more comfortable to hold and use the PHAB.
Apart from that, the Lenovo Phab offers consumers dual sim functionality and comes equipped with Dolby Atmos, 3 microphones, and dedicated voice processor support. The device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
For capturing images and video, the device is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with a dual LED flash and autofocus. The PHAB also has a 5MP camera with a wide angle lens and a pano selfie mode.
