Startup Rubix unveils wireless charging battery, case

Tech startup Rubix has developed a magnetised Qi wireless charging case called On Case on your phone and a snap on magnetised wireless charging battery called On Charger.

According to the engadget.com, On Charger is 13.9mm-thick and consists of a 5,000 mAh battery with two output options, a fast 2A current over a USB cable or a standard 1A over close-proximity wireless transmission.

Also, the charger has a wireless power receiver at the bottom, which let users plank it onto any Qi wireless charging station and can also stack one On Charger on top of another that's plugged in to charge them up simultaneously, although taking twice as long if you give the bottom charger a 2A current over USB. Rubix's Kickstarter project will launch On Case for the iPhone 6 first, followed by bring the already Qi-enabled Galaxy S6 plus Galaxy S6 Edge and a bigger On Case for the iPhone 6 Plus.

The battery and case bundle are worth $89 and up.
