Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime expected to launch in India today

Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy J7 Prime in India today. The company has reportedly sent out invites for an event in New Delhi. The device was unveiled in Vietnam in August. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is currently listed on Amazon India for a price of Rs 19,400 and will be available in black and gold color variants.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy J7 Prime is the upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016). It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It also features a fingerprint scanner along with a home button.

Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the device comes equipped with a13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1 and microUSB. A 3300mAh battery completes the package.
