Google is thinking about everyone who isn't attending their I/O conference this week. The search engine giant will let you view the keynote or opening presentation of the live event in 360-degree video.

You can view the live stream on YouTube Wednesday, May 18 at 10:30 pm (Indian time) but you will need a VR headset like Google Cardboard, Oculus Rift or Samsung Gear VR to watch it in virtual reality.

It is an interesting way to optimise VR headsets other than gaming. If it proves successful, then it will pave the way for companies to broadcast their future events in VR, giving  the viewer in an immersible experience without actually having to leave their room. Could you imagine the possibilities?
