A new "Guest" option, introduced on November 14, enables even users without an account to use Skype.

In a blog post, Microsoft-owned free video and audio call software Skype announced that signing in is no longer a requirement to use the service. Instead, users can opt to identify themselves as "guests," and will receive a link that is then used to share and invite others to join the conversation.

Previously, Skype required users to have an account, but this new update makes the software accessible to anyone. However, the Guest conversation only lasts for 24 hours. If you want to return to the conversation or use other functions such as Skype Translator, you'll have to sign up for an account.
