There’s a new malicious app in town and it could be creeping up on your Android device. The app is called HummingBad and it has already infected over 10 million Android smartphone around the world. If your device is one of them, then HummingBad is probably collecting your personal data and clicking on ads in your namesake, right now! 

Thankfully, we are living in an age where cybersecurity firms can trump just about anything these malicious softwares throw at us. So, If you think your phone has been infected or if it's been acting weird then you should get it checked. There are plenty softwares that can help you do that and you can find online although, it is recommended that you choose a software from a secure website. 

If you have been infected, then you're only left with one option. You will have to factory reset your device. The best approach to getting rid of the malicious app on your device is to backup whatever you can on a Google account or any other cloud storage service and then factory reset your android device.
