HP announces Spectre x360 tabtop for Rs 1,29,990

Similar to Lenovo's Yoga series, the HP Spectre x360 transitions between notebook, tent, and tablet mode.

HP today announced the HP Spectre x360, a 13.3-inch convertible PC with an ultra-thin design, and performance to boot.

“Customers are looking for beautiful devices that deliver quality, versatility and portability,” said Ketan Patel, director – Personal Systems, PPS HP India. “The HP Spectre x360 is transformational as it has the productivity of a high end notebook, tablet mode for on the go, tent mode for play and stand mode for watching entertainment in a stunning ultra-thin device.” 

The HP Spectre x360 is designed with an all-CNC aluminum chassis and is 15.9 millimeters in height and weighs 1.48Kg. The device features polished metal on the side and transitions from notebook mode for work, stand mode for viewing entertainment, tent mode for touchscreen entertainment, or tablet mode for on the go. To ensure the display glides smoothly and stays in place where a user wants it, the HP Spectre x360 has new hinges that contain a set of three spiral gears for synchronized and precise movement.

The HP Spectre x360 features a 56-watt hour battery and a quad-HD display (2560 x 1440p), that delivers up to 10.5 hours of battery life. It packs an Intel Core™ i7 with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. It supports an HDMI portas well as Intel Wireless Display technology, and has three USB 3.0 ports.

The HP Spectre x360 is  available in Indian now, and is priced at Rs 1,29,990.
