Google Daydream View VR headset to launch on November 10

Google has confirmed that its Daydream View smartphone VR headset will officially launch this month.

Google officially stated that the new VR headset –Daydream View will be available starting November 10 on the Google Play Store and across five countries namely - United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia. The device is also available for pre-order via the company website.

It was announced on October 4, during Pixel event, where the company also introduced the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. 

United States: Verizon, Best Buy; $79 (USD)
Canada: Bell, Rogers, Telus, Best Buy; $99 (CAD)
United Kingdom: EE, Carphone Warehouse; £69 (GBP)
Germany: Deutsche Telekom; €69 (EUR)
Australia: Telstra, JB Hi-Fi; $119 (AUD)

In terms of design, the device is made with soft flexible breathable fabrics found in athletic wear. It also includes a clickable touchpad and buttons along with sensors. It weighs roughly 220 grams. At the moment, Daydream View will be offered in three color variants such as slate, crimson and snow.

Google announced that it is working with WB to bring the VR experience for JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. The mandatory alien shooter is coming to Daydream VR as well. Google is also working with HBO, Hulu and Netflix to bring their entire libraries to Daydream platform.

At the moment, no information has been provided as to when the Google Daydream VR headset will come to India.
