Four in ten millennnials ready for virtual reality: Report

New data from Global Web Index (GWI) shows that younger internet users, particularly those aged between 16-34, are having their heads turned by the potential of VR headsets.

And while the young are leading the charge -- over 40% of under 35s globally state a keen interest for the technology -- over one third of 35-44-year-olds are interested and almost one in five 55-64-year-olds would like to give it a go.

Other interesting data highlights include the fact that smartwatch owners are 66% more likely to express an interest in VR and that one-in-two gamers also would like to try out a VR headset. GWI's results are based on surveys and questionnaires with thousands of web users in 33 different countries.
