LeEco Le 2 spotted on eBay India before official launch

LeEco is expected to launch its latest smartphone in India on June 8, the Le 2 and Le Max 2. But, as luck would have it, one enterprising local seller is offering a single purchase of the Le 2 on eBay India right now.

We’ve already discussed the likely hardware specs for the Le 2 before. It’ll have an all-metal frame, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 403ppi pixel density, a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera.

This differs only slightly from the Le 1s Eco, which has a 1.85GHz processor and a 13MP/5MP camera combination. However, while the Le 1s Eco was priced at Rs 9,999 in India (and its successor was expected to be similarly budget-priced), the Le 2 listed for sale on eBay is priced at Rs 22,999. Of course, we won’t know the real price of the Le 2 until launch day, but it’s likely to be more in the range of Rs 15,000.
