Check out Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale July 5 - 11

Heads up gamers, Microsoft has some great news for you. The company is hosting a major sale on its website for PC and console gamers alike.

Dubbed the Ultimate Game Sale, the event takes place July 5 to 11 on the Xbox Store, with the company claiming discounts of 40 to 60 percent of every digital download for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360..

Titles on sale will include recent releases like Dark Souls 3, Doom, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Tom Clancy’s The Division, and Battleborn. Also available at discounted rates will be older hits like The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto V, and Quantum Break.

Xbox 360 owners meanwhile can expect lower prices on some of the console’s most popular titles like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Saint's Row 4, and South Park: The Stick of Truth, which have also been patched to support them on the Xbox One as well.

"There are also over 30 great offers for all of the PC gamers out there. The deals include Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," Microsoft says in the blog post.
