The case papers of NRI Pankaj Trivedi’s murder have been sent to the sessions court for trial. The Metropolitan court has also issued summons to 10 of the accused in the case, asking them to remain present before the sessions court on June 15 when the trial in the matter begins.

More than 100 witnesses have been examined in the case. Though a charge-sheet had been filed in 2006 in the Metropolitan court, the case papers could not been sent because of some technical reasons.
The accused in the case include Bharat Bhatt, a mentor of Swadhyay Parivar in the city, Chandrasinh Jadeja, Mukeshsinh Chudasma, Dakshesh Shah, Bhupatsinh Narubha, Mansinh Wager, Ghanshyamsinh Chudasama, Bharatsinh Jadeja, Chandrakant Daki and Jasuba Jadeja.

According to case details, Trivedi was clubbed to death outside Ellisbridge gymkhana in June 2006 for allegedly raising his voice against Swadhyay Parivar head Jaishree Didi.

One of the accused, Chandrsinh Jadeja, had confessed that he, along with four of the accused, hatched the conspiracy to kill Trivedi.
