Kashmir celebrates Azad's induction in union cabinet

Residents of Bhaderwah town in Doda district and Jammu city celebrated the induction of AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad in the union cabinet. Soon after Azad took his oath as cabinet minister in the swearing-in ceremony in Delhi yesterday, hundreds of people came out in the streets and shouted slogans praising Azad in Bhaderwah, the home town of the Congress leader.
    
The people were seen dancing, beating drums, bursting crackers and distributing sweets till late night. Similar scenes were witnessed in Jammu town today since morning. The residents in the city have planned to hold a public rally in the evening, sources said.
