Is Jaspinder’s marriage on the rocks?

Rumours are rife that singer Jaspinder Narula (who has belted out hits like Pyaar Toh Hona Hai) is heading for a divorce. Reason: She had confided in a friend before leaving for America that she wasn’t in touch with her husband for the past eight months. For those who don’t know, Jaspinder was in a long-distance relationship with Man Mohan, a Canadian government employee. 

If sources are to be believed, the story goes like this, “Jaspinder wants to have kids. But the man she married cannot contribute to this biologically. He had kids from a previous marriage but now, he cannot due to some biological complications. Hence they are separating.”

When DNA called to check this news with Jaspinder directly, her parents answered the phone. To our query, Jaspinder’s mother said, “We have come from Delhi to stay here only now. I don’t know about this. But aisi baat hoti rehti hai. Yeh kahani ghar-ghar ki hai. Jaspinder is in America now for work.” On another occasion, Jaspinder’s father, KF Narula, answered the call. He said, “These talks are always there in the industry. You should talk to her directly when she’s back in June. I don’t know about this but I get to speak to her once or twice in two weeks because she is in America. She has never told me about this. But as far as I know, he (Man Mohan) had come to Bombay four to five months back.”

We wonder if Jaspinder will re-consider the case and try to work things out by visiting her husband in Canada while she is in America!
