Durga Soren passes away

Durga Soren, eldest son of JMM chief Shibu Soren, passed away at a hospital here on Thursday.

Durga, a former JMM MLA, was 39. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, family sources said.

Soon after he complained of uneasiness in his chest he was taken to the Bokaro general hospital where he died.

Durga Soren, who contested and lost the Godda Lok Sabha seat, is the party's general secretary.

The director of the Bokaro General Hospital, Dr AK Singh, said Durga Soren was brought dead.

JMM president Shibu Soren, who was in Delhi at the time of his son's death, has left for Bokaro.
