Royal family except Tikku casts their votes

All members except 'Tikku' of the Patiala royal family have cast their votes here at Government college of girls situated on YPS road.

'Tikku'alias Raninder Singh is contesting elections from Bathinda parliament as  congress nominee.

Rajmata Mohinder Kaur the grandmother of Raninder Singh, Congress nominee of Bathinda, has wished him good luck.

Talking to reporters soon after casting her vote at Government College for girls (GCG) she said that "I wish him good
luck- he will definitely win the Bathinda seat.

Rajmata Mohinder Kaur, mother of former chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh was unwell few months back and turned up on Thursday to cast vote in the favour of her daughter in law Preneet Kaur, Congress MP and nominee of party.

She said that we will win all the 13 seats of the state.

Soon after, Former chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has reached at the polling station along with his wife Preneet Kaur, daughter of Jai Inder Kaur and daughter in law of Rishma.

All members of royal family have exercised their franchise at booth no. 121 of GCG.
