Four killed in train collision

Four persons were killed and many injured when a passenger train and a goods train collided in suburban Vyasarpadi on Tuesday.
     
The passenger train from Chennai and the goods train from Arakkonam collided at Jeevanagar railway station, resulting in a fire, police said.

Four bodies have been retrieved by the fire and rescue personnel, police said, adding, more casualties were feared.
     
The mishap has resulted in disruption of rail services on this busy route, they said.
