The Congress party on Sunday said BJP should first dump its leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee and LK Advani in the Arabian sea, if it feels Congress is an old party.
"The man who made the statement on the old age of the Congress party must implement his statement on his own political party. First he should dump Atal Behari Vajpayee and the oldest man who is the hurry to become prime minister LK Advani in the Arabian sea," All India Congress Committee general secretary B Hariprasad said here.
Hariprasad was responding to the statements of BJP leader Narendra Modi during Karnataka campaign wherein he appealed the people to discard Congress because it is old party.
"The culture of a person, society or nation is measured on how they treat children, women and aged people," he said condemning Modi during media briefing in Margao here.
He said Congress strongly believes in the tradition and heritage of the country. "I got nothing to say about BJP which always raises non issues," he addede.
"Their prime ministerial candidate has said that Congress prime minister is weak. I don't know when Advani became a doctor. Just lifting two dumbels will not make any leader strong," he said.
Stating that Advani should refrain himself from calling Iron man, Hariprasad termed Advani as the Home minister who could not visit Kashmir during 2002 election and
also the man who drove dreaded terrorists to Kandahar.
"Its unfortunate that we had such a home minister who claims to be replica of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel," he said.
