Bootlegger kidnaps two youths in Ahmedabad

Two youths were allegedly kidnapped by a Bhaipura-based bootlegger Jagan Madrasi and his gang members on Wednesday night. However, one of the youth managed to escape from kidnapper’s clutches.

Sources said that Madrasi’s son Kamal and his friend had an altercation with some youths while they were playing cricket at Bhaipura on Wednesday evening. The two groups later went to settle the issue. Kamal latter, narrated the incident before his father.

On Wednesday night, some of the youths including Manoj Mudaliya and Ramesh with whom, Kamal had an altercation were kidnapped by Madrasi’s gang in car from Khokra slum quarters area. However, Mudaliya managed to escape.

Based on the complaint of Mudaliya’s brother Bhagyashree, Amraiwadi police managed to nab Pursottam Madrasi, Harpal alias Lucky and Kamal Surya who were involved in the act.

Amraiwadi police are investigating the case.
