Unfazed by the Congress fielding popular Tv actor Shekhar Suman against him from Patna Saheb Parliamentary seat, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Tuesday said his rival, who through popular TV programme Pol Khol mocked at others, would be at the receiving end himself.

Not one bit disturbed by the `star war' expected from this seat,Sinha, popularly known as `Bihari Babu', said it is heartening to see that, "Congress which has lost political ground in the heartland of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh is bringing people from nowhere to keep itself alive".

"People will have fulsome entertainment and relief from gruelling politics and will thank Congress for it," he said before leaving for a whirlwind campaign in Bihar.

Welcoming Suman, who apart from being his Bollywood colleague like him also hails from Patna and belong to same Kayastha caste, to fight against him, Sinha, who was member of Union cabinet in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, said it would not be clash of two personality but between two parties.

Reminding that ultimately it would be the voter who compares personality, popularity and contribution of candidates for Bihar, the `Shotgun' Sinha said he had been serving his motherland for a long time.

"Besides giving funds for construction of a large number of roads,I contributed to set up of one of the premier cancer hospital's in the country's in Patna and other schemes run by Red Cross," Sinha, a two term BJP Rajya Sabha member from Bihar, added.

Driving home his claim that he was not an opportunist politician, the Bollywood actor said he joined BJP when it was not in power and had been part of the lotus party through its good and bad times.

Sinha, who has been BJP's star campaigner for a long time, said he intention to contest the Lok Sabha election from his home seat of Patna Saheb was `not for a joy ride'  but to ensure party veteran L K Advani sits on the prime minister's
chair and also strengthen hands of chief minister Nitish Kumar in taking Bihar on the path of development.

Sinha said that shared an `affectionate and cordial' relationship with his most-recent political opponent Suman and the contest in the poll would bring no difference to it as the elections are a contest where issues of parties are taken up.

"After all, someone has to fight against me", said Sinha in his trademark style.
