All India Bhartiya Sant Samaj hails 'true Hindu' Varun

Varun Gandhi, facing heat for his  "inflammatory utterances" has been supported by the All India Bhartiya Sant Samaj, which called him a "true Hindu" and exhorted people to vote for him.

Leaders of Dharam Raksha Yatra, consisting of over 125 saints from Haridwar and Rishikesh, while addressing a gathering here on Saturday praised Varun for being a "true Hindu."

The organisation's general secretary Mahamandaleshwer Hans Das said the country needs such young men in parliament and also asked people to vote for the BJP's candidate from Pilibhit.
 
He alleged that the government is suppressing the Hindus in order to appease other communities.

Other leaders Swami Vivekananda Saraswati and Sadhvi Prachi Arya also addressed the gathering, which witnessed adequate security arrangement by the police.
