Even as the BJP pitches yet again for the Ram temple at Ayodhya with an eye on the coming polls, its ally Indian National Lok Dal on Saturday sought to distance itself from the issue, saying it belongs to the saffron party and not to the NDA.

"It is not an issue of the NDA. It is BJP's thinking (that the temple should be constructed at Ayodhya)," INLD's secretary general and Rajya Sabha MP, Ajay Chautala said when asked how his party viewed the recent assertions made by BJP leaders on Ram temple construction.

Making a strong pitch for a Ram temple, BJP's prime ministerial candidate LK Advani recently asserted that the party remained resolved to build the shrine.

BJP president Rajnath Singh too recently said that nobody could shake the party's faith in Lord Ram, for whom a magnificent temple will be built at Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, INLD leader said there were no differences with the BJP on the issue of seat sharing in Haryana for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

"There are no differences. Everything will be sorted out," Chautala said and claimed that the NDA will win all the 10 LS seats in Haryana.

Criticising the ruling Congress in the state, he charged it with failure on all fronts including power, water, law and order and education besides blaming it for "rampant corruption."

He also took a dig at the Congress for "meddling in the affairs of the Sikhs by politicising the issue of separate SGPC for the community in the state".
