Judicial remand of Raju, four others extended by 14 days

A local court here extended the judicial custody of five accused in the 7,800-crore Satyam fraud case, including former chairman of Satyam Computer Ramalinga Raju.

A local court here on Saturday, further extended judicial remand of Satyam Computer former chairman B Ramalinga Raju and four others accused in the Rs 7,800-crore Satyam fraud case by 14 days.

The 6th Additional Chief Metropolitan magistrate extended the judicial remand of all the five accused till March 7.

The other accused, whose judicial remand was extended on Saturday, are Satyam's former managing director and Raju's brother Rama Raju, former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas, and Price Waterhouse's sacked employees S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri
Srinivas.

It was fifth extension of the judicial remand of Raju brothers and Vadlamani Srinivas since their arrest last month, who are lodged in Chanchalguda jail, along with PW's auditors Gopalakrishnan and Talluri.
