National Security Adviser MK Narayanan has said though Pakistan is yet to officially reply to the Indian dossier, it appears to be probing the evidence seriously.

“So it is good news from our point of view. [But] whether after all this they would still accept the truth that will kind of hit them in the face, that I don’t know,” he said.

Meanwhile, external affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee said in Jaipur that India was ready to share more information, but Islamabad has “not replied to the Indian dossier” and that it should use official channels to communicate.

Narayanan said, “As far as we are concerned, we believe Pakistan is making an attempt to arrive at the truth.” India is giving Pakistan every opportunity to “prove its bona fides”, he said.

“We have provided them with the dossier. They have reverted with certain queries, we have replied to their queries, and I presume they will have more questions and we will assist them,” the national security adviser said.

Narayanan said there was no reason why Pakistan, should not extradite the masterminds of the terror attacks.
