Three youths from Surat have dedicated a song to Barack Obama on his swearing-in ceremony as US president today.

Chirag Thakker, Jayesh Gandhi and Anita Sharma have together made a Hindi music video which is all praise for Obama, the first black to become the US president.

The youths have uploaded a 5.44-minute long video song on "Youtube" which was shot at various locations in the city.

"This video reflects our love for Obama who has faith in Lord Ganesha and great respect for Mahatma Gandhi," said Thakker.

"The making of this album involved labour of three months and keeping our families aside but we are happy to come out with it coinciding with Obama's swearing-in ceremony today," said Anita.

When Obama won the US presidential election, we thought of making this video to express our respect towards him and his concern for the welfare of the world community, she added.

The video also has English subtitle to enable non-Hindi speaking people to understand the song. The youths want Obama to watch their video on the internet. They have also sent a DVD of the song to their friends in USA to present it to the president of United
States.
