Boy, scrap dealer killed in J&K explosion

Two persons, including a boy, were killed and as many injured in separate explosions in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

Ten-year-old Azim Ahmad was killed when an explosive device he was fiddling with went off at Sanglote in Poonch district of Jammu region, police said.

In another incident, a shopkeeper was killed and two others were injured in an explosion at a scrap dealer's shop in Udhampur district. The victim Mohan Lal died when a crude explosive he was hammering exploded.

Two injured persons were hospitalised. Police said the scrap dealer collected the crude device from some army firing range.
