KOLHAPUR: Maharashtra revenue minister Patangrao Kadam said the Revenue Department should be transparent and dynamic, on Sunday.

He was speaking to media after a meeting of revenue officers at collector office in Kolhapur. "I am trying to solve the problems of people about revenue department properly and I think that 60 per cent of people's problem about revenue department should be solved on tehsil level, 20 per cent on district level and remaining 20 per cent on ministerial level," Kadam said.

"There will be no need to come to Mantralaya for small reasons and for this purpose I instruct all officers of the department that work should be completed fast and in time," said the revenue minister.

When asked about the corruption in revenue department, he said,"It is true that there is corruption in our department but my aim is to bring maximum transparency into the administration."
