Disney's 'Beauty and The Beast' to be revamped

LONDON: Disney's classic animated feature “Beauty and The Beast” is to be revamped into a three dimensional (3D) presentation.

The Oscar-winning original (1991) is to be reworked for a debut on the big screen in 2010, reports contactmusic.com.

The film's original team will be reunited to work on the re-rendered movie where producer Don Hahn will come together with directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale for the nine-month project.
