HYDERABAD: Advocating the need to take a strong stand on terrorism, the spiritual leader and preacher of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said  terrorists have to be isolated from the "Even if a person in our own family is indulging in terrorism, he should be isolated and expelled. There is a need to delink Muslims and terrorism. Terrorists have no religion or community," he said at a public meeting organised by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind.

Talking about his experiences in Iraq, Ravi Shankar said Iraq is in a bad shape and it needs love and peace to rebuild it. "If one goes to Iraq, he can't sleep peacefully. About 7 lakh women in the country are widowed. In today's world, there is no time for people to love. How are these people able to find time to indulge in terrorism?" he said.

Arya Samaj scholar Swami Agnivesh said the elections in the United States have shown the impact of a country’s president targeting a community in the name of fight against terrorism. "See what happened to George Bush in the US. In the name of terrorism, he targeted a community and today, it's a Muslim who has been elected as president of the country," he said.
