Fab Four felicitated

NAGPUR: It’s never easy to bid farewell. Nobody understands this better than Anil Kumble, who said his goodbyes after the third Test match in New Delhi last week. He says he is feeling the loss already, having watched the first day of the fourth Test between his former colleagues and Australia in Nagpur on Thursday. “I didn’t realize how weird it would feel to watch from the president’s box,” he said during the BCCI’s function to felicitate the Fab Four. “Sourav, enjoy these last few days to the fullest,” he then said.

The BCCI presented a plaque and a bouquet of flowers to the four stalwarts of the game. Sachin was presented with a gold bat, studded with diamonds.

The families of Sachin, Sourav and Ganguly were present. However, Laxman’s wife stayed back in Hyderabad as the couple is expecting  their second child. All four thanked their teammates and the Board.
