Ekta Kapoor K-uts it out!

 The TV queen, whose shows’ titles began with ‘K’, has decided to do away with her fixation

After Karan Johar, another producer has overcome her obsession with the alphabet ‘K’. Television czarina Ekta Kapoor, who  had all the titles of her shows beginning with the above mentioned alphabet (she even renamed the great Indian epic as Kahaani Hamaray Mahabharat Ki to stick to her ‘K’ superstition), has decided to do away with it as far as her new production is concerned.

However, her shows did enjoy a ‘successful’ innings with the ‘K’ word beginning with the cult soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (began on July 3, 2000) right uptill Kasamh Se.

Coming back to her new stance, while the grapevine suggests a tussle between Balaji Telefilms and Star, some sources reveal that Ekta is already making a new soap for the channel. To be aired on the 10 pm slot (as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki has breathed its last), the new show will be called Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.

The lead actress of the show will be Pooja Bose (she plays Radha in Balaji’s Kahaani Hamary Mahabharat Ki). The show is a family drama and includes actors Uday Tikekar, Chetan Pandit, Papiya Bose, Ashish Kaul among others. When contacted all
that Ekta said was, “I don’t know.”
