PATNA: A dreaded inter-state gangster Chand Mian, wanted in about three dozen cases in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, was arrested here on Saturday.
    
Chand Mian, wanted in over 30 cases of murder, attempt to murder, loot, kidnapping for ransom and many other offences, was arrested from Mauryalok complex in front of Kotwali police station following a tip-off, Patna senior superintendent of police Amit Kumar said.
    
Chand Mian, who hails from Bhojpur district of Bihar, is said to be a shooter of Uttar Pradesh don and mla from MAU Mukhtar Ansari.
    
No firearms were recovered from the possession of the arrested gangster.
    
Kumar said police had received specific information about the arrival of Chand Mian, who was tracked down at Mauryalok shopping complex.
    
The gangster was being interrogated, he said.
