Music duo hopes for a successful 'Kidnap'

NEW DELHI: Amidst all the speculations over Minissha Lamba's makeover and Imran Khan's role, Sanjay Ghadvi's Kidnap' will also decide the fate of two brothers in the film industry.
     
Sandeep and Sanjeev Vyas, who are debuting as the music director duo with 'Kidnap' are keeping their fingers crossed for the fate of the album but they say they have reasons to be confident about the results.     

"More than 1,50,000 copies of the CD have been sold. That's not an easy task especially when piracy is so prominent these days. I am told that 'Mit Jaye' is really popular and the song may be re-released with additions", says Sandeep Vyas, who has sung as well as penned and composed the track with brother Sanjeev.
    
Calling their music 'fresh' and 'wonderful', Sanjeev says, "My sense of music is more of dance while he is into rock. So even though our tastes are different, our sensibility is the same and so is the kind of music. The music is fresh and wonderful when the two fuse together."
    
But the break wasn't easy. It took them some time to convince Ghadvi who preferred Pritam for his films and had told them so too. But when he heard 'Mit Jaye', there was no turning back.
   
"I began to visualize the scenes for my film when I listened to the track on my i-pod for the first time. I immediately called them up and told them that they are in," says Ghadvi.
    
The album however isn't the first for the duo. They marked their debut with their album 'Deewanapan' that released this year. They have also rendered music for various live performances in the capital.
