Severals local trains cancelled on October 2

As many as 10 local trains will be cancelled to and from the city on October 2 in view of the commissioning of the automatic signalling system on Ballabhgarh-Palwal section.

NEW DELHI: As many as 10 local trains will be cancelled to and from the city on October 2 in view of the commissioning of the automatic signalling system on Ballabhgarh-Palwal section.
    
The cancelled trains include the Sahibabad-Ballabhgarh, Delhi-Agra Cantt. Passenger, New Delhi-Palwal, Sahibad-Palwal, Ghaziabad-Palwal, New Delhi-Palwal, Shakurbasti-Mathur Jn., Shakurbasti-Palwal and New Delhi-Palwal EMUs, said a Northern
Railway spokesperson.
    
Commissioning of the automatic signalling system would further strengthen the signalling system in the Delhi area, he said.
    
Last month, the operating system at New Delhi station was also commissioned.
    
Trains which will be partially cancelled on the day include the Ballabhgarh-Palwal EMU.
    
However, keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, long distance trains like Mumbai Central-Ferozepur Janata Express, Sriganganagar-Howrah Udhyan Abha Toofan Express, Jammu Tawi-Indore Malwa Express and Habibganj-Hazrat Nizamuddin Bhopal Express will stop at all the small stations serviced by the locals, the spokesperson said.
