LONDON: Building the ‘Dream Team’ might just not be dream for new Manchester City owner Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim who had revealed that the Portugal winger topped his wish-list.

Al Fahim said that he was prepared to pay anything in the region of £135 million to make this the biggest transfer in the history of the game.

Manchester United chief executive David Gill responded to City’s bold interest saying that was taking the reports with a ‘pinch of salt’.

But Gill conceded that Man U, like any club, would reluctantly be forced to consider such an exorbitant fee. “I have never met the gentleman [Al Fahim] so I can’t believe he is serious at those sorts of levels. But that is a fantastic amount of money and would turn the industry upside down,” said Gill.
