Keira Knightley is very scared of winning an Oscar.
The Duchess actor, who has been tipped for Academy Award glory next year for her role in the period drama, admits that she is terrified at the thought of accepting the accolade if she does triumph.
She said: “I would probably be very sacred if I had to give a speech.”
Keira also revealed she was worried about accepting the role of Georgiana Spencer in The Duchess in case people didn’t take her seriously. She also admitted that she felt weird wearing a wig.
The 23-year-old actor added: “There is always an element of fear that you are not going to be able to make people believe in the fiction, that suddenly you would be standing there in your dress and wig. Which is not particularly helpful.”
