Paris Hilton takes reality show to Britain

LONDON: Socialite Paris Hilton, who is hunting for a best friend through her reality show, now takes it to Britain.

Contactmusic.com reports that her new show is tentatively titled "Paris Hilton New Best Friend" in which female contestants compete to become Hilton's best friend. Hilton has already finished filming the US version of her show and now British TV bosses have coughed up $1 million to have the show in Britain. 

A source said: "Hilton is great on TV and bosses over here have been keen to snap her up for ages. Fronting her own show in Britain for the first time is a big risk, but producers are confident they have a ratings hit. They are shelling out a fortune not just on Hilton but also on production costs."

Filming will take place soon and the show will be broadcast on the British channel ITV2.
